So “Weird Al” has a new song out. “Craigslist” It parodies the 60’s psychadelic band The Doors. The question I have is where does “Weird Al” Yankovic belong in today’s music/internet world? I did enjoy his music when i was younger, watching VH1 specials and being tempted to buy his albums but never did. But after seeing the song parodies of Michael Scott and Collegehumor, you have to wonder, can “Weird Al” compete with new Youtube sensations and similar creative minds?
Unlike the others, “Weird Al” is still making money doing it.
